2024 Rep Player Medical and $100 Deposit

All Players and Training Partners will need to confirm selection into the Rep Teams by filling in the Medical Form and paying a deposit of $100 by 1 December 2023. Please click more info to complete Medical Form. 

Please note payment plans are available - contact ipswichnetball@outlook.com to set up before the 1 December 2023.

Players, Training Partners, Parents and Legal Guardian will also need to have read INA Representative Player Policy and Representative Parent and Legal Guardian Memorandum of Understanding.

Costing

The final cost for representative players for the 2024 season will be provided ASAP. Please budget for estimated costing of up to $800 for Senior Teams and $900 for Junior Teams.

Please note until all rep carnivals and State Age are booked, costing can not be finalised, the above amount listed is only a guideline. 

  • The costing covers the transportation, accommodation, carnivals, training sessions, break up event and team photos
  • A schedule of payments will be provided when the final cost has been determined 
  • Details on payment process will be email to players as INA will be using a new system
  • All players must be financial with their respective club and INA. Un-financial players will be unable to participate in an INA competitions (ie: Saturday games), representative carnivals, etc. 
  • Upon selection into a team, players are invoiced for a non-refundable $100 participation fee. Payment of this fee is required to confirm the player’s place in the Representative Team.

Uniform

All representative players are required to have the below list of compulsory INA uniforms:

These items can be purchased via the INA Rep stores onlinePlayers will be notified when it is available. Or can be purchased second hand via Ipswich Netball Uniforms Recycle Facebook group. 

Orders that are placed via the Rep Store can only be collected at the INA Office, please allow five (5) business days for orders to be processed. You will be notified when you order is ready for collection. 


The Rep Store also offers other items that players may wish to purchase (but are not compulsory).

 

Please note it is requirement that players wear their training singlet at training. 

Players Requirements

Carnivals  

A final list of carnivals will be provided to the Representative teams ASAP. Please note these carnivals can be played on either a Saturday twilight and Sunday all day.  All players are required to make themselves available to attend all carnivals and State Age.

INA will aim to attend 3-5 carnivals per season. 


State Age Attendance

To comply with NQ policies, the top two teams in each age group will be nominated to attend State Age Championships. If there is more than two teams in the same age group, those extra teams will attend association representative carnivals only.

 

Injuries

Any player that sustains an injury either at training, games, other netball games or outside of netball, that prevents them from participating at training or games is required to notify INA and their coach. The injured player is required to provide a medical clearance confirming they’re fit to return to training and playing. 

 

Players withdrawing from Rep

Any player that withdraws from their Representative team must send an email to Ipswich Netball Association. Ipswich Netball Association will provide confirmation of withdrawal and advise if any costs are outstanding.
